Chester W. Hightower, Jr. Bio

 

The former TCCHS and Stillman College speedster Chester W. Hightower, Jr. is the epitome of accomplishing the impossible. The 3x national sprinter, All-Conf. and 5x record holder, is a true born leader, having made a huge impact on Stillman College's football/track team. He has the charisma that rubs off on people he speaks to that brings out the best in them.

 

Chester’s humble beginning with positive reinforcements from his single parent mother of two, and late grandmother along with determination made a difference in his life to this date.

 

At an early age, Chester was introduced to good old family and Christian values, Sunday school and Church was a must in his upbringing. Chester has been an all around young man participating in the YMCA youth sports, middle school, and high school sports. Born to Tammy L. Jones and Chester Hightower Sr. showed him the values of working hard and believing in you.

 

Chester's mother, Tammy, also made a huge impact on Chester's success. She instilled in him and his younger brother D' Vonte the meaning of sacrifice, sacrificing his body in exchange for victory and respect well earned. All Chester ever wanted to do was make his parents proud, a goal that was set from the beginning and accomplished after a long journey of fortitude and willpower.

 

After launching his CAD Foundation at the age of 23, he will give his hometown Boston, GA something to be proud of. Chester is a true leader that has accomplished the impossible. He is a difference maker who inspires confidence in teammates and children everywhere. A game/race changer, a philanthropist and a role model, Chester has built a reputation that his late grandmother is looking down from the heaven above with a big smile and can be proud of.
